Our crazy lives

I've been a slacker at posting this month because of school so here is the latest and greatest in our lives. I had a final today and my last one is tomorrow! Yeah for the end! I was home with Em most of the day and didn't know what to do with myself without any homework. We had fun though.

Aaron left us on Sunday. He is in Memphis and Em and I will fly out there the end of May. I have graduation, my sisters wedding, and a freelance photography job I have to complete before joining him. He is working out there for the summer so Em and I are going to join him and just hang out. I might either go crazy or decide I like doing nothing. She's pretty excited to hang out with mom all the time, but I'm pretty sure she might get tired of me real fast. : )
We had a little family night on Saturday before Aaron left. We went to dinner at Bistro 258 in Ogden. We had the most amazing dessert. It was called "Fuzzy Peaches" and it had fresh peaches with brown sugar pan-seared with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup. I wish I had a picture it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and it tasted just as good.

After dinner, we went hiking up Indian Trail Head where Emily led us on a secret trail through the spooky forest to escape from the bears. (If this doesn't make sense to you, it didn't to us either, but we enjoyed her commentating the whole way.)

It's so fun to see you so happy! I think Memphis sounds great. You and Em will get in lots of sight seeing! I was going to say that we need to get together soon, but it doesn't sound like that will happen for a while! Maybe just you and Em want to come over sometime?

6 Week Flu

SYMPTONS: FREQUENT VOMITING, EXCESSIVE FATIGUE, NAUSEA, LACK OF MOTIVATION SIDE EFFECTS: HOUSE TURNS INTO A PIG PEN, FAMILY MEMBERS WEAR DIRTY UNDERWEAR FOR SEVERAL DAYS, MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY ARE ACCUSED OF HAVING EATING DISORDERS FROM MALNUTRITION, YOUR BED & COUCH HAVE A PERMANENT INDENT, AND THE CARPET FROM HERE TO THE BATHROOM HAVE A WELL WORN PATH, PEOPLE THINK YOU HAVE FALLEN OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH My friend recently told me there's a chance she "might" be pregnant. When I asked what might meant, she told me it could just be the flu. I laughed at her until I started experiencing the same symptoms. Even after a positive pregnancy test I worried that it might be all in my head. Thank heavens for a trip to the doctor, he confirmed that: WE ARE HAVING BABY NUMBER 2 !!!!!! I apologize to any of you who have asked recently when we are having more kids or why I am sick, and I didn't give you a straight answer . . . well now you know!

I hardly changed any diapers in the hospital and unless I was feeding her I had to fight him to hold her. He claims I got to hold her for the last 9 months, it's hardly the sa me. Our family of four I DID IT! I had set a goal for myself to deliver naturally with this baby (I had an epidural with em and don't get me wrong I loved it.) Aaron and I took classes to learn relaxation techniques and how the body works through the delivery process. We learned a lot. I had been having some serious labor pains for the past several weeks and thought because of this I probably wouldn't realize when it was time for the real thing. I had hair appointments scheduled all day Saturday and was doing my last one (thank heavens it was my mom) when my water broke. She stil...
