I like to unwind by reading before bed at night. I recently had a fun, easy read I thought I'd share if you like fashion. It's "You Know You Want It," by Eric Daman who is the fashion designer for Gossip Girl.

When I go to the library I often like to pick up books people have suggested on their blogs, but I'm out of suggestions so if you have a good book please leave me a comment so I can pick it up : ).

Also I would like to turn my blog into a book for journal purposes. Does anyone know a good site you would suggest to do this?

loved these is my words. i need to find a good book as well. i've been reading self help books lately and am sooo bored! i need some good fiction. also, i published a blog i was doing for Maddie's first year through blurb.com. it turned out amazing, but i had some trouble at first. so call me when you're ready and i can help you. it does take time to format everything.
try "Hunger Games" and the second book "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins. They are weird but I couldn't put either book down.

I have also become a totally dorkie bookworm. I also recommend the Hunger Games series (there are two so far), and the Gregor the Overlander series, also by Suzanne Collins. She writes for youth, but I prefer that for clean content. I also liked the Percy Jackson books. Think Harry Potter meets Hercules. I always feel dumb checking them out of the library because I'm so old, bt they're still my little guilty secret.

Blurb.com can help you publish your blog, haven't done it yet but know others that have. Try the "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" It's a good easy read. Takes a minute to get past the way the book is written, but Steffenie Meyers also recommended it. Happy book hunting. Also, if you go to Alli's blog, go to David and Ashley, and THEN go to "Janssen". Jansen is Ashley's cousnin who is a librarian back east and will read and review books, just an idea.

6 Week Flu

SYMPTONS: FREQUENT VOMITING, EXCESSIVE FATIGUE, NAUSEA, LACK OF MOTIVATION SIDE EFFECTS: HOUSE TURNS INTO A PIG PEN, FAMILY MEMBERS WEAR DIRTY UNDERWEAR FOR SEVERAL DAYS, MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY ARE ACCUSED OF HAVING EATING DISORDERS FROM MALNUTRITION, YOUR BED & COUCH HAVE A PERMANENT INDENT, AND THE CARPET FROM HERE TO THE BATHROOM HAVE A WELL WORN PATH, PEOPLE THINK YOU HAVE FALLEN OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH My friend recently told me there's a chance she "might" be pregnant. When I asked what might meant, she told me it could just be the flu. I laughed at her until I started experiencing the same symptoms. Even after a positive pregnancy test I worried that it might be all in my head. Thank heavens for a trip to the doctor, he confirmed that: WE ARE HAVING BABY NUMBER 2 !!!!!! I apologize to any of you who have asked recently when we are having more kids or why I am sick, and I didn't give you a straight answer . . . well now you know!

I hardly changed any diapers in the hospital and unless I was feeding her I had to fight him to hold her. He claims I got to hold her for the last 9 months, it's hardly the sa me. Our family of four I DID IT! I had set a goal for myself to deliver naturally with this baby (I had an epidural with em and don't get me wrong I loved it.) Aaron and I took classes to learn relaxation techniques and how the body works through the delivery process. We learned a lot. I had been having some serious labor pains for the past several weeks and thought because of this I probably wouldn't realize when it was time for the real thing. I had hair appointments scheduled all day Saturday and was doing my last one (thank heavens it was my mom) when my water broke. She stil...
