Halloween!!


Emily was a pirate for Halloween (I couldn't talk her into a princess ;). She started out the festivities at preschool on Thursday with a Halloween carnival.


On Halloween, she and I went up to my Mom's for the trunk or treat at the park.


Later we picked up Aaron to go to a party at some friends. See if you can guess what we are dressed up as; please don't say nerds :)

One of the games was to eat a raspberry filled donut off a string as a couple and guess who won . . .WE DID!The winner of the Fear Factor challenge and his date. After eating baby food, sardines, and pickled pigs feet, Aaron won us dinner at Olive Garden. I'm so proud of him! (by the way I wasn't pissed on Halloween, it's part of my character)Emily fighting a 2 year old with a foam sword, poor kid, odds are not in her favorThe whole gang. Thanks Alyssa and Gentry for the awesome party! We had a blast!

What a cute little pirate! I didn't know you went to the trunk or treat in Mountain Green! Brad and I were going to take little Ava there, but figured people would be bugged that we brought a newborn there, who can't even eat any candy! It would have been great to have seen you.
What's your schedule like? We were thinking about getting some pictures taken toward the end of this month or the first of December.

I am impressed with your Angela impression. Emily looks so cute. I do think that Aaron looks like he's enjoying the Dwight persona a little too much.

You guys looked awesome. And Emily was so much more becoming as a pirate than a princess. Maybe it's just me, but she doesn't strike me as a princessy kind of girl. We need to see you soon!

Christmas 2016 Bernkastel-Kues Christmas morning Our Christmas was a little different this year, or I guess a lot different because of being in a different country and far away from the family and friends we love. We celebrated about a week and a half early because Emily went to spend Christmas with her other family and Aaron had to work on Christmas. Emily left the day after the girls' last day of school, so when they came home from school we opened presents from each other and then by popular vote spent the rest of the night eating pizza and bowling at the bowling alley on base.
