Happy Birthday Aaron

Happy 25th Birthday to Aaron on June 13!

Thanks for being such a hard worker and for always making us laugh. You are the nicest person ever it's no wonder you have so many friends. :) Thanks for being such a great husband and dad. We love you!

Aaron's birthday wish was to go see Kung Fu Panda with our family so the three of us went and loved it. It was really funny and had a great message. We got home around midnight and watched a thunder and lightning storm on our deck while eating brownie sundaes. The rain storms out here are incredible! I've never seen rain like this before and it's so cool to watch the lightning because you can see everything without the mountains.

Happy 1st Anniversary! I can't believe it's already been a year since you two got married. Happy Birthday Aaron! Looks like you had a good one. Well I just love to read your blog and all the things about Emily! It just cracks me up everytime. She is so thoughtful and loving. What a sweetie! I am glad you are able to relax there and enjoy your time with Em. She is such a doll in all those pictures. Probably the cutest girl I have ever seen! Well have fun. When you guys get back to Utah lets hang out.
Happy birthday Aaron. Wow, half way to fifty. We miss you guys.

Anika, oh my gosh, I haven't been blog browsing in so long. First things first, I adore the new background--very cute. Second, Happy Anniversary! One year is a big milestone, a big congrats to you. Third, isn't being a stay-at-home mom the best? There are definitely moments when think you might go crazy, but really it is the greatest. And last, happy birthday to Aaron. Well, it looks like you are having fun in Memphis. Hope things continue to go great.

6 Week Flu

SYMPTONS: FREQUENT VOMITING, EXCESSIVE FATIGUE, NAUSEA, LACK OF MOTIVATION SIDE EFFECTS: HOUSE TURNS INTO A PIG PEN, FAMILY MEMBERS WEAR DIRTY UNDERWEAR FOR SEVERAL DAYS, MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY ARE ACCUSED OF HAVING EATING DISORDERS FROM MALNUTRITION, YOUR BED & COUCH HAVE A PERMANENT INDENT, AND THE CARPET FROM HERE TO THE BATHROOM HAVE A WELL WORN PATH, PEOPLE THINK YOU HAVE FALLEN OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH My friend recently told me there's a chance she "might" be pregnant. When I asked what might meant, she told me it could just be the flu. I laughed at her until I started experiencing the same symptoms. Even after a positive pregnancy test I worried that it might be all in my head. Thank heavens for a trip to the doctor, he confirmed that: WE ARE HAVING BABY NUMBER 2 !!!!!! I apologize to any of you who have asked recently when we are having more kids or why I am sick, and I didn't give you a straight answer . . . well now you know!

I hardly changed any diapers in the hospital and unless I was feeding her I had to fight him to hold her. He claims I got to hold her for the last 9 months, it's hardly the sa me. Our family of four I DID IT! I had set a goal for myself to deliver naturally with this baby (I had an epidural with em and don't get me wrong I loved it.) Aaron and I took classes to learn relaxation techniques and how the body works through the delivery process. We learned a lot. I had been having some serious labor pains for the past several weeks and thought because of this I probably wouldn't realize when it was time for the real thing. I had hair appointments scheduled all day Saturday and was doing my last one (thank heavens it was my mom) when my water broke. She stil...
